The LED Fiber Optics Cascade is a wonderful new product that gives the impression of a color-changing curtain. The product is easily accessible for wheelchair users thanks to the swiveling wall-mounted bracket. The LED Fiber Optics Curtain is available in either a Calming Model (LS3841) or a Superactive Model (LS3842). In the Calming Model the product slowly changes colors and can be used for relaxation or de-escalation for individuals with dementia. This calming mode automatically starts if no button is activated for a period of 5 minutes. The Superactive Model features an 8-way wireless controller; press one of the 8 brightly colored buttons on the wireless controller to change the color of the fiber optics. Press blue and it’s a waterfall, green and it’s the vines in the forest, or orange and it’s the lava flowing from a volcano. The wireless controller is powered by integral batteries (supplied) and operates from a distance of up to 90 ft. The LED Fiber Optics Curtain can be used to develop cause and effect skills and color recognition skills, and may be used in theming as well. The fiber optics are very tactile and because there is no electricity in fiber optics, only light, they are safe to touch and hold. Product operates on mains voltage transformed to low voltage.
