Durable!I got this for my 6 year old son specifically, but I also have 4 other sons ranging from 4 to 12. I have tried a lot of different ball pit type items in the past and my kids really put them to the test. None last more than a week. This one is doing GREAT. It's awesome to finally have something so durable! It's big and deep and even the bottom is inflated about 6 inches. I didn't get balls for it yet. I am currently throwing the stuffed animals and random pillows in it as my 6 year old likes to bury himself under them. My kids also enjoy flipping it upside down to hide under. Some of my kids like to just pile in it with a bunch of blankets. So it's versatile as well, not needing to be strictly a ball pit. Extremely worth it for the price if you are looking for something to truly last.Read MorePerfect!Perfect size, I can fit with 2 children.Read MoreHighly RecommendI highly recommend Fun and Function's Air-Lite Ballpit to all families with special needs children. Great for sensory input, trunk strengthening, and it also calms and relaxes our daughter, while giving her a wonderful place to play. It is extremely durable and easy to patch with the included repair kit if needed. Our daughter is extremely rough on toys, furniture, etc, and we have only had to patch it twice in 3 years (which says a lot about the quality of this product). Therapy ballpits are extremely expensive but Fun and Function has created an amazing product while making it affordable for families.Read MoreShe loves it!My granddaughter loves her new ball pit, and it's strong enough for her siblings to go into with her!Read MoreAwesome ball pitSo much fun! Just hope it holds up over time. Filled with 800 balls and could hold at least 500 more.Read Morea lot of fun, but ball quantity unclearI purchased this ball pit for my sensory gym. It seems from the instructions that it requires 500 balls, however it really needs almost double the amount. I only wish I had budgeted this prior to making this purchase.Read MoreNice and Well madeVERY thick and sturdy material, very fun to play in too my son loves to lay in here and watch tv, or flip thru magazines, this is fun BUT it does take up alot of room, so we use it on weekends mostly other than that its great well worth the money, I just wish that I wouldve know buying 2 boxes of 500 balls was a bit too much when 1 and a half boxes would do just fine.Read MoreMy kids really enjoy thisI pull this out for my kids on the days that they are home and need something healthy to keep them entertained. It inflates in minutes and is loads of fun! My older son (12) love it too. It's durable, it calms my kids and keeps them happy and entertained-- It's really massaging to be in there. It's pretty large too-- fits a bunch of kids (including neighbors) . When we are done I simply deflate for easy storage until the next snow day or heat wave.Read MoreWe love the ball pitWe have one of these ball pits and we love it. We blow it up and take it down usually on the same day-- There are six kids playing in it at any given time and sometimes we don't even put the balls in it! The kids love just sitting in it while they watch TV or read or just chill out. I think they would sleep in it if they could!Read MoreGreat ball pit, but doesn't last long :(My triplet 5 y/o kids got this last year for Christmas. They loved it! Unfortunately, after about a month of use it would not hold air and kept deflating within minutes of blowing it up. Luckily, Fun and Function customer service was great! They sent me a shipping label, I shipped it back to them and they gave me a full refund.Read More
Answered QuestionsMelissa Whittington / May 24, 2017Each case of 500 balls fills approximately 6.1 cubic feet. To determine how many cubic feet you want to fill with balls, measure the inside length, width and depth of your ball pit. Then multiply these numbers for cubic volume. The formula is: Length (L) x Width (W) x Depth (D) = Cubic volume.Adina Kuhnreich, Customer Service / May 24, 2017
