In addition, they recommend walking and moving since it can help alleviate the stress and biting. Though it may be difficult at the start, given the surgery, even small movements can be helpful. - - Noise Reduction Ear Muffs to minimize the extraneous noise but still allow you to hear nearby conversations
- - Calming Weighted Comforter to provide calming pressure. Use at night or during the day as a lap pad.
- - The Mozart Effect or other soothing music can provide calming auditory input
- - Fidgets such as Digi Squeeze Balls or Scented Putty or Marble Maze
- - Alternative things to bite such as Chewy Pencil Toppers or Bangle Bracelets or Chew Necklace
