Autism Awareness

What is Autism Awareness Month?

Autism Awareness Month is dedicated to raising the awareness of autism in our communities and schools. The goal is to educate others about autism and to better advocate for inclusion and acceptance. Some organizations have shifted to referring to it instead as Autism Acceptance Month in order to better align with these goals.

What is World Autism Awareness Day?

When is Autism Awareness Month?

National Autism Awareness Month is celebrated yearly in April. Since global Autism Awareness Day is celebrated April 2nd, it made sense to have April as a dedicated awareness month.
