Sensory Room Equipment $500+

Sensory Rooms

A sensory room uses therapeutic equipment such as weighted products, soft play equipment, ball pits, bubble tubes and interactive wall panels to create an immersive sensory experience. A sensory room can be customized to stimulate sensory-seekers or calm a child on the verge of a meltdown. Swings and adaptive climbing walls provide vestibular and proprioceptive feedback for kids who need more sensory input to feel ready to learn. With its mix of calming tools, a sensory room can serve as a therapeutic environment for those with autism or dementia, or a safe space for kids who need a break from the sensory overload and social stressors in school. For kids who need a break while remaining in the classroom, a calm down corner can include tools such as bean bag chairs, gel tiles and fidgets to promote self-regulation. A calm down corner is also a space-saving solution that can be placed in any area of the home, so that kids can enjoy a soothing experience after a long school day or before settling into bed. Enhance your sensory space with trampolines and rockers.
