Getting Started

To cool gel pack, place in freezer for an hour. To heat compress, warm in microwave in 30 second increments until warm (but not hot). Check temperature before applying. If gel pack is too hot, allow to cool before using. Place gel pack inside Llama before using. If gel pack shows signs of wear and tear, replace immediately. Replace gel pack after one year of normal use. One replacement gel pack included.

Weighted lap pads are designed to support children with various sensory needs. Tested at an independent and accredited third-party lab, this blanket or lap pad meets or exceeds government safety standards for physical and mechanical hazards. Seam strength is also tested to help ensure the long-term durability for our most active users.
Use with adult supervision. User should be at least 3 years of age. Follow the weight guidelines stated on the product insert. Do not allow user to sleep with weighted lap pad. User should be able to remove lap pad without help. Never use to cover face or restrict child's movement. Use weighted products with guidance from a therapist. Gel pack is for external use only. Gel pack must be placed inside lap pad before use. Do not apply gel pack directly to skin. If gel contents come in contact with eye or skin, rinse thoroughly with cold water. If gel contents are ingested, seek immediate medical attention. If gel pack leaks or shows signs of wear and tear, discontinue use and discard. Individuals with circulatory problems should consult with a physician before use. Not for mouthing or teething.
