At Fun and Function, protecting student privacy is a priority. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Fun and Function app stores, what information may be shared with us, and how that information is used.
The Fun and Function app is designed for teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, and other educators. It helps adults document student behavior, develop and implement sensory plans, and track interventions while keeping student information private.

Student Information
The Fun and Function app is designed with a strong focus on student privacy.
Student information may include:
- Student names
- Behavior observations
- Antecedents
- Sensory plans
- Interventions
- Staff initials
- Notes
- Dates and times
- Custom intervention names
- Other related documentation

This information is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to Fun and Function's servers.

- During the beta, no account or login is required.
- Student records do not sync between devices.
- You can edit or delete students, sensory plans, and intervention records at any time.
- If you choose to export or share a PDF, you control where that file is saved or shared.

Optional Information You Choose to Share
Sharing information with Fun and Function is always optional. Depending on the features you choose to use, the app may allow you to send:
- App feedback
- Responses to optional surveys
- Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics

Anonymous aggregate statistics help us improve suggestions and support ongoing product development.
 
Before aggregate information is shared, any custom intervention names are automatically replaced with "Custom intervention." Student names and personal notes are never included in anonymous aggregate data.

Suggestions and Educational Content
The app may display educational resources, sensory recommendations, or product suggestions.
These suggestions are based only on anonymous, aggregated information and are intended to provide additional support. They are a supplementary feature and are not the primary purpose of the app.

Permissions
The Fun and Function app:
- Does not require access to your camera.
- Does not require access to your microphone.
- Does not require access to your location.
- Does not require access to your contacts.
- Does not display advertisements.
- Does not include in-app purchases.
- Does not use reporting SDKs.
- Does not require an internet connection for core student documentation.

As the Fun and Function app evolves, we may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date will be revised accordingly.
