It was a little large for my 5 yr old (ordered the 4/5) and I figured the 95% 5% blend would shrink a bit in the wash and dryer run. much to my dismay and surprise it didn't! It does not provide as much compression as other more expensive brands, however my 8 yr old said that it provides enough compression because he can stretch it over his hips and put his legs and arms inside to get the pressure he is craving. I've had this for about a month and it isn't holding up well in the wash. The short sleeve shirt rolls up and tehy are not TIGHT. I even ordered one a size smaller than recommeded and it is not tight enough. I think if a child just needs to feel fabric on thier skin, this works well but it doesn't compress anything. The only thing that would have been more helpful when purchasing is to have the exact sizing or length of the item. Ordering to the child's age did not work for my son. He wears a 5-6 top in traditional clothing and is 4 years old. The 4-6 size in this product was too short waisted. I would order up if you are questioning sizing for those kids of high percentile growth. Would strongly recommend product otherwise.
