Great for our sensory seekerOur son is five and loves this sack. He sleeps in it often (like a regular sleeping bag) and will crawl inside to play. It's especially great for traveling because it's not bulky and offers him security and a place to regulate.Read MoreNot good for kids with sensory issuesI I just wanted to share some feedback about the Hug Blanket that I purchased. As a mom of a little guy who has sensory processing issues, I bought this thinking it would give him the similar feel as a weighted blanket (as the product description states), but in all fairness it's not even close to the compression a child with sensory issues would need. I just wanted to share that with you in case another parent wondered if it was as heavy as the company claims, and truthfully it's just a very light blanket. Perhaps showing the weight of what it is would be an idea as most parents who look into these tools know the weight they are looking for. Thanks so much. StefRead MoreFun and Function Response:Hi Stef. Thank you for your feedback! This is a compression-only sleeping bag, designed to give a hug to kids who seek that. We do sell Weighted Sleeping Bags, too. Some kids respond better to weight than compression. https://funandfunction.com/heavy-sleeper-weighted-sleeping-bag.html Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to set up a return. Answered QuestionsWhat is the fabric? Non toxic? My grandson is chemically sensitive, so if this has fire retardant that wouldn't work.Beth walsh / Dec 19, 2016The Hug Sleeping Bag only comes in blue, but you can check out our other sleeping bags that have a red interior and can be opened up for the red to be the outside. https://funandfunction.com/heavy-sleeper-weighted-sleeping-bag-13-lbs.htmlAdina Kuhnreich, Customer Service / Dec 20, 2016My child is 4 years old (36lbs 38 inches) and a sensory seeker. Looking for at the hug and space explores -Something with resistance to give that an outlet she needs and to be able to calm her body as a result of using it. Which would you suggest based on size and use?Jill k / Dec 5, 2016The Hug Sleeping Bag is a wonderful way to have deep pressure during nap time and in the night to provide calm and relaxation. The Space Explorers are lots of fun and provide much sensory input during the day, play time, etc. We can discuss the different options available with you. Just call us at 800 231 6329 and we can assist you further!Adina Kuhnreich, Customer Service / Dec 5, 2016I am looking at the Transformer Sensory Sack, Space Explorers, and Hug (Lycra) Sleeping Bag. My kids are leaning towards the sleeping bag because they want the option of sleeping in it, but ai feel like the other two look way more stretchy and fun. Please compare/contrast these so I can have a better understanding of which to order. Thank you.Linda Brooksbank / Jul 18, 2016All three are nice and stretchy, provide deep calming pressure and allow for resistance and heavy workout. The Space Explorer has several size options and can be used standing or sitting or lying down. You can choose a cool animal print or a solid color. The Sensory Sack and Hug Sleeping Bag are one size fits all, and can be used sitting or lying down. Of course, the Sleeping bag can be used for both sleeping and play, while the others are not for night-time sleep. All are lightweight and fold easily for travel sensory breaks wherever and whenever!Adina Kuhnreich, Customer Service / Jul 20, 2016Brittany Alexander / Jul 6, 2016The Sleeping Bag isn't as weighted as a Weighted Blanket, but provides tons of great deep calming pressure for the one who is sleeping cozy inside!! The stretchy material encourages heavy work as they move inside, and the spandex gives the deep pressure that provides calm and relaxation.Adina Kuhnreich, Customer Service / Jul 6, 2016What are the dimensions of the sleeping bag? I teach high school aged autistic students. Would they be to big for the bag? Thanks!
