The needle tip provides low volume inflation for items that have a rubber valve such as basketballs, playground balls and our Spiky Tactile Balls and Spiky Tactile Cushions. The open air cap is suitable for high volume inflation such as inflating balloons, Wiggle Cushion, beach balls and other items without a rubber valve.
